Conducts epidemiological surveillance and analysis across a multi-county region in Northeast Wisconsin. This position builds and maintains data infrastructure, such as data dashboards, communicates data analysis findings to respective parties, and provides training and technical assistance to local health department staff who use population health data to inform decision-making.
This full-time position serves the local governmental and tribal public health jurisdictions within the following 17-counties in the Northeast Wisconsin region: Brown, Calumet, Door, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago Counties.

Master's degree in public health, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology; or similar field or a combination of closely related education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Three years of professional data work experience within a public health setting preferred.
Experience with data visualization tools, statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS), and disease surveillance systems (e.g., WEDSS, WIR, ESSENCE), and other technologies that enhance data collection, visualization, and distribution are preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Suite applications.
