Radiological Health Physicist 1 (Dental X-Ray Inspector PCN 161002)
What you will be doing:Join the Anchorage State Public Health Laboratory as a Radiological Health Physicist and assist with coordinating, developing, implementing, and maintaining Alaska's statewide Radiological Health Program. You will have the responsibility for investigating and characterizing unnecessary ionizing and/or non-ionizing radiation exposure risks and implementing measures to reduce or eliminate those risks to human health. This position is focused on our dental sector, which offers an opportunity to travel extensively across Alaska's beautiful and rugged landscapes, experience the life of our rural community, witness the unique ways they deliver dental health programs in various environments, and conduct inspections of their radio
