The Pharmacy Technician III shall be responsible for: Following established policies and procedures, filling and delivering prescribed medication orders as directed by a registered pharmacist. Preparing patient medications in accordance with established protocols, methods and techniques. Measuring, mixing and compounding automated TPNs, irrigations, chemotherapy drugs and parenteral and oral medications in specified volumes, dosages and concentrations. Preparing special dilutions of non-controlled and controlled substances, IV and research study medications as needed.
