PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency
The specialized residency in health system pharmacy practice administration is defined as an organized, directed postgraduate program of practical experience in pharmacy practice administration. The program is 12 months in length and designed to progress a resident through the development of increasingly complex competencies in pharmacy practice and practice management. The primary objective of the program is to prepare pharmacists to assume leadership positions in integrated health care systems.  Graduates of the program will have a higher level of competency in assessing and resolving the health needs of the public as it relates to the safe and effective use of medication and will be expected to assume a leadership role in pharmacy practice.
