Summary: Responsible for the grant and financial-related activities associated with monitoring, accounting, and managing the CDC Bundle grants awarded to ASTHO.
Reviews documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to funder requirements.
Uploads work plans, budgets, and related documents to funder submission portals.
Assists with tracking pre-award and post award documents.
Organizes and creates files for approvals received from funders.
Manages the daily ASTHO CDC Bundle grants budgets.
Monitors the expenses related to the ASTHO CDC Bundle projects.
Regularly provides easy to follow reports to the project managers.
Develops tools for tracking, analyzing, and forecasting financial status for all projects.
Provides an update of the financial position of each of the projects in the ASTHO CDC Bundle portfolio.
Supports resolving financial related issues, discrepancies, or other project-related problems.
Tracks and monitors vendor and subaward invoices and purchases to insure they are received and processed in a timely manner.
Tracks the status of the contract balances.
Maintains electronic files and helps to ensure compliance with funder requirements.
Creates and provides quarterly and annual (or as needed) financial reports to the funder.
Bachelor's Degree in related field
3 years of prior experience administering grants
Experience with a database or tracking using Excel; experience with SharePoint is a plus
Strong computer skills to include proficiency in MS Office
Experience with accounting software (SL Dynamics a plus) and other database applications
Solid, positive interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of principles and practices of federal grants administration, including familiarity with OMB Uniform Grant Guidance and experience using Grants.gov preferred
Knowledge of HHS cooperative agreement regulations and guidelines preferred
