Drowning Prevention Data Scientist | RESEARCH SCIENTIST III (EPIDEMIOLOGY/BIOSTATISTICS)
Job Description and Duties The candidate works under the general direction of the Research Scientist Supervisor I, Chief of the Unintentional Injury Prevention Data Unit. The Research Scientist (RS) III is responsible for the independent design, development and implementation of epidemiological surveillance, research, evaluation, and dissemination to support unintentional injury prevention. Specifically, the RS III will provide non-supervisorial leadership for the Childhood Drowning Data Collection Pilot Program, which is being implemented per Senate Bill 855.
