Job Description and Duties This vacancy is being advertised statewide, with locations available in Sacramento, Contra Costa, Los Angeles, and San Diego Counties.  The headquarters location will be determined based on the location of the most qualified candidate.  Travel is expected throughout state of CA.   This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by designing and conducting scientific research studies of limited scientific scope and complexity to maximize use of enhanced disease surveillance strategies and informatics, and for the identification of disease trends amongst refugees in California. Under supervision of senior scientific the Research Scientist (RS) I will serve as a team membe
