Under the direction of the Communicable Disease Service, this position assists with response to reportable vector-borne disease reports, including Lyme disease and other tick and mosquito-borne diseases (e.g., (Babesiosis, Spotted Fever Group Rickettsiosis, Ehrlichiosis, West Nile virus, Eastern equine encephalitis, Powassan) in order to protect the health of the citizens of New Jersey. Assist the COVID-19 Data Team to review and classify cases in the Communicable Disease Reporting and Surveillance System, to update missing information, including address and contact information, assist in merging duplicate cases, and help with other data cleaning needs.
