Air Quality Investigations Unit Supervisor | RESEARCH SCIENTIST SUPERVISOR I
This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by strengthening the state environmental public health and laboratory testing program through planning, organizing, and directing the Investigations Unit in conducting advanced investigations on air pollution science. The incumbent works under the general direction of the Research Scientist Supervisor II (RSS II) (Physical/Engineering Sciences), Chief, Air Quality Section (AQS). The Research Scientist Supervisor I (RSS I) (Physical/Engineering Sciences) supervises the Investigations Unit (IU) within AQS and supports the AQS Chief in prioritizing pollutants of concern.
