Epidemiologist | RESEARCH SCIENTIST III (EPIDEMIOLOGY/BIOSTATISTICS)
This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by designing and implementing biomonitoring studies and communicating biomonitoring data to the public. Reducing exposure to harmful environmental contaminants is an essential part of the CDPH goal to Strengthen Prevention and Control of Disease and Injury. The Research Scientist III (RS III) Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Epi/Bio) will work with a team of epidemiologists to design and implement statewide biomonitoring. Under the general direction of the Research Scientist Supervisor I, Chief, Exposure Surveillance and Epidemiology Unit, within the Environmental Health Investigations Branch (EHIB), the RS III (Epi/Bio) coordinates highly complex research investigations undertake
