Job Description: Reporting to the Executive Director of University Facilities, the Director of Environmental Health and Safety is responsible for all aspects of a college based environmental health and safety program. This includes, but not limited to: asbestos, building and fire safety, construction safety as it applies to University employees, emergency preparedness and response, environmental compliance, ergonomic safety, hazardous materials and waste, incident investigations and reporting, indoor air quality including mold issues, occupational safety and workers compensation reporting. The Director of Environmental Health and Safety oversees the College's Safety Committee and works closely with the Facilities Department and the Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO)
