Occupational Health Educator | HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST II
The Occupational Health Surveillance and Evaluation Program (OHSEP) is a statewide program to track work-related injuries and diseases, assess occupational exposures to hazards, and make prevention recommendations for workers and employers. The program's findings are used to promote safer and healthier work environments. OHSEP is located in the Occupational Health Branch (OHB) of the California Department of Public Health. OHB is devoted to improving worker health and safety through prevention activities. OHB works to prevent injuries and illnesses on the job before they happen.
