This position will be the primary scheduler of patient appointments and switchboard duties in the Medical Records/Appointment Unit. Duties will also include booking patient transportation, data entry, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail; various report preparation and compilations, Vital Records, and Medical Records duties. Applicant must have strong verbal and communication skills and personal computer knowledge and experience. Must be able to relate and communicate well with patients, staff, and people from all social-economic groups and backgrounds. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality is a must. Applicant will serve as Review Coordinator of Child Fatality Prevention Team responsible for quarterly child death reviews/meetings and reports sent to the State Child
