The Johnston County Health Department has a vacancy for a Public Health Nurse II / Immunization Coordinator in the Child Health Clinic. Duties and Responsibilities: Will work in the Child Health Care Clinic, performing history taking, patient education and treatment utilizing appropriate medical directives. Requires ability to plan and coordinate program requirements; ability to elicit needed information and maintain effective working relationships. Position will coordinate and implement the Johnston County Children's immunization program. Implementation includes vaccine administration and includes training of Health Department staff and school health nurses on use of the North Carolina Immunization Registry (NCIR). Position must have a working know
