The purpose of this organizational unit is to ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of Robeson County Health Department. This unit will ensure cleaning is performed in a timely and efficient manner. Cleaning is an essential part of disease prevention. By using sound cleaning techniques and following OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard which aligns with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), disease prevention is promoted. The Health Department complies with all State and Federal regulations and statues relative to cleaning.  This position performs a variety of duties in the care and cleaning of clinics and offices.   Duties include sweeping, moping and vacuuming floor surfaces.  Wax and buff wood or tile floors.  Maintains bathrooms in the agency to include cleaning, replenishing paper
