The Environmental Health Investigations Branch protects the health of all Californians by identifying environmental hazards, partnering with communities to build capacity, and promoting healthy environments. The Exposure Assessment Section (EAS) measures chemical exposures across the California population, determining the extent and source of exposure, and conducting outreach and education on how to minimize exposures, particularly in highly exposed and vulnerable communities.
