Make a Difference at the Washington Medical Commission! Join Our Operations and Informatics Team
The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) is looking for a passionate and proactive team member to help us fulfill our mission of keeping Washington residents safe and supporting the integrity of the medical profession.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor staff in processing compulsory requests for the Commission.
Serve as a subject matter expert on compulsory requests, offering technical guidance.
Streamline quality disclosure services to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and implement improvements to operational efficiency related to compulsory requests.
Assist management with daily activities of the Operations and Informatics unit, ensuring effective use of technological tools.
Perform document organization, scanning, filing, and indexing.
Option 1: Four (4) years of experience performing Records and forms Management, Consultation & Analysis in a legal records environment, AND Communication and Request Processing as defined in below in the NOTE.
Option 2: One year of college course work in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a closely allied field. AND Three (3) years of experience performing Records and forms Management, Consultation & Analysis in a legal records environment, AND Communication and Request Processing as defined in below in the NOTE.
Option 3: A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a closely allied field. AND One (1) year of experience performing Records and forms Management, Consultation & Analysis in a legal records environment, AND Communication and Request Processing as defined in below in the NOTE.
AND for all options:
Experience must include 6-months applying redactions using Adobe Acrobat Pro, and practical skills in MS Excel for spreadsheet creation, development and management, database management, MS Word for document creation and formatting, and Microsoft Outlook or similar email systems for electronic correspondence.
Two years responding too, processing, and tracking compulsory records requests and recalling and digitally archiving paper-based records for the state, local or federal statutes.
