We’re seeking a Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing complex, mission-driven innovation projects that support public health initiatives across Washington. This role will primarily focus on overseeing and guiding complex, high-priority projects led by the innovation team in CISPE, coordinating with our Office of Innovation and Technology (OIT), offering strategic recommendations to key stakeholders, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborating with both internal DOH teams and external partners, including federal and state agencies like the CDC. Your expertise in areas such as design thinking, rapid prototyping, and innovative project management will play a crucial role in shaping project outcomes.

• Professional experience in project management, which includes experience managing complex projects involving multiple staff and invested partners. 
  • OPTION 1: A minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • OPTION 2: A Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two (2) or more years of experience.

• AND the following experience:
  • Experience applying theoretical project management frameworks and methodologies in practical scenarios.
  • Experience implementing diverse project management methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary staff to accomplish complex projects.
  • Experience utilizing project management software.
