The Washington State Public Health Laboratories are seeking a Management Analyst 4 to help lead our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Replacement Project. In this role, you'll be the cornerstone of successful LIMS implementation, collaborating with IT staff, lab teams, and vendors to ensure seamless data integration and compliance with health and safety standards.
As the Master Data SME, you'll guide lab unit experts, oversee data configuration and testing, and align data models to the needs of each lab unit. Your day-to-day work will involve analyzing and updating master data, facilitating integration with laboratory instruments, and maintaining high data quality standards. You'll also support strategic planning and process improvements, creating opportunities for efficient and innovative data management practices. Qualifications Options:
Option 1: Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience developing and performing data analysis and reporting, using a variety of different data sources, to enable use of data for decision making.
Option 2: A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, Laboratory Science, or a related field with a focus in statistics and/or mathematics or similar AND two (2) or more years of demonstrated experience working on data analysis and reporting, using a variety of different data sources.
Option 3: Three years of experience working as a Data Consultant or Management Analyst/Consultant.
Intermediate level or higher proficiency with Microsoft word or similar word processing applications.
Intermediate level or higher proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
