Position: Radiology Tech

Department: Diagnostic Imaging

Job Summary:
- Perform radiology, venipuncture, and/or fluoroscopy.
- Responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures under general supervision.
- Radiology exams, venipuncture for contrast administration, and fluoroscopy.
- Work closely with patients, physicians, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient information, and billing details.

Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in performing x-rays and CTs. MRI and/or mammography preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and medical terminology.
- Competency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures independently and operating departmental equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.

Education & Experience:
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of an AMA-approved program in radiological technology.
- Additional education or training for certification in various modalities preferred.

Experience:
-Minimum six months of experience as a radiological technologist. One year or more preferred.
Licensure / Certifications / Registrations:
- California State License (CRT) with Fluoroscopy.
- American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) registration.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- IV Venipuncture/Contrast Administration course completion certificate.
