The Center for Inclusion, Belonging and Well-being (CIBW) Strategy Manager will have a significant impact on agency-wide well-being initiatives, guiding policy changes and engaging in collaborative strategic design and implementation to address disparities. The role requires advanced leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, along with a deep understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, and trauma-responsive leadership.
We’re seeking a dedicated CIBW Strategy Manager to lead and implement strategies that address well-being disparities within our organization. You will work closely with the CIBW team, partners, and employees to enhance our work environment by identifying barriers, designing impactful strategies, and fostering positive, sustainable change.
Desired Education and Lived Experience:
Option 1: At least 4 years of experience in leading or supporting similar programs as described above.
Option 2: A bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, community health, social work, health communication, public administration, business administration, or a related field; plus at least 2 years of experience in leading or supporting programs related to diversity and inclusion, equity, anti-racism, social justice, cultural humility, community engagement, leadership development, or employee well-being.
Demonstrated Experience in the following is desired:
Leading multiple complex projects or initiatives simultaneously.
Providing leadership and guidance beyond direct reports.
Analyzing data to make informed decisions.
Researching and understanding trends in leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, well-being, oppression, and racism.
Facilitating discussions and training on leadership and diversity-related topics.
Working with diverse groups across all organizational levels.
Using systems thinking to address root causes of inequities and challenges.
Organizing, prioritizing, and managing tasks to meet deadlines.
Creating clear written content for communication with various audiences.
Designing and delivering educational content on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
