Vital Statistics Project Specialist | HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST I
Job Description and Duties This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by having lead responsibility in managing special projects for the Research and Analytics Branch (RAB), providing technical and administrative support and expertise. The Health Program Specialist I (HPS I) independently researches and analyzes all vital records data related issues for coordinated bill analyses, issue papers, legislative concepts, and budget change proposals (BCPs) to ensure compliance with statutes and CDPH policies.
