This position consists of beginning level work assisting in all phases of public health education activities. Assisting with planning, implementing, and evaluating community education activities for individuals and groups through the proper selection and use of educational methods. Works to recognize and solve health problems while promoting public health; collects health and community data used in planning and implementing public health educational programs (ex. Community Health Assessment and State of the County Health Report); Uses various methods to collect, prepare and disseminate information including the use of visual aids and communicating via various media outlets. The individual will establish and maintain working relationships with staff and community partners.
