Research Scientist 1
The Research Scientist 1 will: Manage the day-to-day operations of the New Jersey Maternal Mortality Review Committee; supervise MMRC Epidemiologists and Case Abstractor; organize and convene the Maternal Mortality Review Committee in accordance with statutory mandates; participate in the identification of cases of maternal mortality; function as the liaison between the DOH, MMRC, hospitals, health care providers, and the CDC regarding case information; lead the collection of source information on maternal mortality cases. Engages with various programs on different projects including Perinatal Substance Use prevention and intervention efforts and the State’s Maternal Mortality Review Committee
