The Vermont Department of Health (VDH) is seeking candidates for the Director of the Division of Local Health, which is the "boots on the ground" of  the Department. The Division is comprised of twelve district offices around the state that execute a wide range of initiatives that reflect the work of the Department as a whole as well as a central administrative team. The Director must be able to manage the complexity of a large division that balances the unique needs of communities with the programmatic goals of the Department. The Director needs to effectively represent Local Health with the Department's Central Office, which may require careful negotiation, advocacy, and challenging communications to and fro
