Quality Control Scientist Assistant PUBLIC HEALTH MICROBIOLOGIST I
Job Description and Duties The Public Health Microbiologist I (PHM I) will serve as a Quality Control Scientist Assistant within the Center for Laboratory Sciences (CLS). This individual will be responsible for making bacterial growth media and biochemical reagents to be used for diagnostic purposes; validating new Quality Control (QC) media and reagents to maintain preparedness for bacterial outbreaks and other public health threats and emergencies; and assisting with additional QA responsibilities as assigned.
