Chief, Data Quality and Analysis Unit RESEARCH DATA SUPERVISOR I
Job Description and Duties This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by managing all functions and meeting all objectives of the Data Quality and Analysis Unit (DQAU) in the capacity as Chief. The Research Data Supervisor I (RD Sup I) develops goals; plans, organizes, and prioritizes work assignments; and monitors the quality of work performed by staff. Develops data quality analysis plans and provides leadership on vital statistics data quality issues. Acts as a liaison for the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) to ensure accuracy of vital records data is available for national reporting purposes. Acts as the program manager for the Vital
