Advanced Practice Provider III- Primary Care
Primary Purpose The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct medical services in the area of pediatric and adult primary care at both the New Bern and Havelock locations of Craven County Health Department / Craven County Community Health Center. Essential Functions 75% Adult Primary CareReview patient medical history, assess, diagnose, and treat a broad variety of adult acute and chronic illnesses. Order appropriate diagnostic testing, therapeutic procedures, and counsel patients. Prescribe medications as indicated by diagnosis. Make referrals to other medical facilities as needed. Document all the above thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical record. Code primary care visits on patient E-superbill appropriately
