Under direction of the Communicable Disease Service (CDS), NJDOH will hire Epidemiologists who will be responsible for performing surveillance and research projects in support of COVID-19 prevention and response activities. These epidemiologists will work closely with the various groups within CDS to identify and research metrics to track the incidence and prevalence of COVID-19 in various settings throughout the state including healthcare facilities, long-term care facilities, schools, and other settings.
