The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) employs Nutritionists in multiple positions across the state. Nutritionists work in ADPH's Nutrition and Physical Activity (NPA) Division and the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program. Nutritionists are responsible for providing health assessments, counseling, and nutrition education in various programs around the state. Nutritionists participate in collaborative initiatives and develop public campaigns that support healthy environments.
