Purpose of Position: To coordinate and manage the CD/TB program for the Health Department. To serve as a resource to other health department employees in their roles providing CD/TB treatment & prevention. Serve as liaison between local physicians, hospitals and other community facilities regarding CD/TB cases. Serve on the Health Department's OSHA/Infection Control committee for TB/airborne and bloodborne pathogens and follow-up employee exposures. Provide clinical services for clients requesting a variety of services from the Health Department.
