Position Overview The Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills to serve as Administrative Assistant II for the Epidemiology Unit within the Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program. Supports surveillance, investigation, and response for novel and targeted multidrug resistant organisms (MDRO) and HAIs. Coordinates onsite healthcare facility visits, colonization screening samples, and isolate submission and testing.
