We focus on promoting the practice, competencies, and translation of epidemiologic data, including population-based surveys, to drive positive change.
As the Child Wellness Survey Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in realizing our vision of equity and optimal health for all.
Responsibilities:
Survey Operations Management: You will lead the development and implementation of the population-based Child Wellness Survey. This includes coordinating and supporting survey design, data collection, contract management, data file development, and dissemination of data and reports.
Collaboration: You'll work closely with local health, Tribal, and community organizations to understand data needs and promote survey participation. Building strong partnerships is key to our success.
Data Streamlining: Collaborate with the Child Wellness Survey Epidemiologist to streamline data production, analysis, reporting, and dissemination to our various partners.
Ethical Practices: Ensure compliance with human subjects' laws and policies, including soliciting exempt determination or identification of research status from the Washington State Institutional Review Board (WSIRB), as appropriate.
Communication: Engage with respondents, data users, and partners. Provide technical assistance, respond to data requests, and manage conflicting partner needs.
Continuous Improvement: Lead evaluation and continuous quality improvement activities for the WA Child Wellness Survey. This includes developing and tracking performance measures.
Funding Management: Oversee Child Wellness Survey funding provided by Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS), maintaining productive relationships with FPHS teams and workgroups.

Required Qualifications Experience defined below may have been gained through paid or unpaid activities. Please ensure any relevant experience defined below is outlined in your cover letter, resume, and/or applicant profile. Option 1:
Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or an allied field.
One (1) year of experience managing contracts or grants.
One (1) year of experience in at least one of the following:
Experience managing large projects, surveys, or research studies.
Experience conducting program evaluations or using quality improvement or Lean techniques to analyze and improve processes.
Option 2:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health or an allied field.
Two (2) years of experience managing contracts or grants.
Two (2) years of experience in at least one of the following:
Experience managing large projects, surveys, or research studies.
Experience conducting program evaluations or using quality improvement or Lean techniques to analyze and improve processes.
Option 3: Eight (8) years of experience managing contracts, grants, project management, reviewing/analyzing data, change management or similar work.
