Job Description and Duties The incumbent works under the Health Program Manager II (HPM II) of the Equity Technical Assistance Section. The Health Program Specialist I (HPS I) works on politically sensitive and complex projects, leading the OHE efforts to assure that the COVID-19 pandemic recovery and beyond addresses health equity, and serves to improve equitable health outcomes, especially among vulnerable populations. The Equity TA Specialist functions as a highly skilled, technical program consultant regularly performing duties that include leadership; project guidance, direction, and oversight; and technical expertise to support CDPH’s equity-related efforts.
