GENERAL DESCRIPTION:   The Medical Services Division administers Women's Health Programs (Maternal Health and Family Planning clinics, Care Management for High-Risk Pregnancies), Communicable Disease Programs (Tuberculosis Control, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Immunization clinics, and Communicable Disease Surveillance), Child Health Programs (Care Management for At-Risk Children and Positive Parenting Program) and the School Health Program, to promote health and well-being of clients and the overall community.  This position leads the Medical Services Division and serves as the chief nurse for the Durham County Department of Public Health as an agency.
