Summary: The assistant director of government affairs is responsible for (1) monitoring developments in the federal affairs environment with a focus on budget, appropriations and public health authorizing bills; (2) analyzing federal legislative impact on state and territorial public health; (3) meeting with members of Congress and their staff in coordination with the Senior Director of Government Affairs and (4) developing tools and resources for state and territorial health officials, alumni, and affiliates to engage with members of Congress.Location: Washington, DC areaAnticipated salary: $80,000 Extended experience: up to $88,500 if experience exceeds expectationsPrincipal Functions:
