The incumbent works under the general direction of the Health Program Manager II (HPM II), Chief of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Section (CYBHS) in the Behavior Health Equity Branch (BHEB). The Health Program Specialist I (HPS I), is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a statewide youth behavioral health Public Education and Social Change Campaigns. The HPS I will work closely with the Health Program Specialist II, internal and external partners and contractors to develop a community led and informed, public education campaign to raise behavioral health literacy and support youth empowerment around mental wellness and resiliency. The incumbent is also responsible for providing mental health policy direction and culturally responsive guidan
