The New Jersey Early Hearing Detection and Intervention program (NJ EHDI) ensures that children have hearing screening completed and that those with abnormal screenings receive appropriate follow up. The program analyzes the impact of hearing loss and the effectiveness of early detection and intervention efforts for New Jersey children.  Under the direction of senior program staff, the Research Scientist 3 will: Conduct research on current methods of newborn hearing screening and carry out program activities related to identification and treatment of hearing loss in infants and children.
