Job Description and Duties The Health Program Specialist I (HPS I) works under the general direction of the Health Program Manager II, Chief of the Alzheimer’s Disease Section. This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by performing programmatic and evaluation coordinator duties for the California Alzheimer’s Disease Program (ADP) within the Chronic Disease Control Branch (CDCB). The ADP is a grant program for the purpose of research into the causes, treatment, strategies for coping with and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and related factors.
