This position will provide senior-level business and systems analysis, application development, and operational support for the NC State Laboratory of Public Health. This position will be responsible for Laboratory Information Management system (LIMS) application development and maintenance operations using Java programming technology. The Specialist will program, develop, and/or configure customized software product/systems to meet client requirements. Build and support specialized customizations to the NC SLPH LIMS system including conversions, interfaces, enhancements, and user interface modifications. This may include end-to-end software development starting from analysis moving on to design, implementation, QA testing and validation, delivery, and maintenance. D
