Reporting directly to the Record Maintenance & Retention Supervisor, this position is responsible for classifying, tracking, filing, and scanning hard copy vital records and other documentation as required. Responsible for quality checking documents, as defined in the records retention and retrieval policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Verifies vital records and documents to ensure correct numbering, formatting and revisions.
Identify, compile, sort, and organize records and data.
Uses R.I.M. (Records Information Management) system to provide users with information.
Performs complex searches for Documents across multiple file sources. Abstract and enter data into the Vital Records system as appropriate.
Manage complex document searches for records and documentations to support internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Measures processes to ensure ongoing improvement, quality control, and automation.
Stores documents in a secured area, destroying them as required.
Identifies and reports issues to supervisor for resolution.
Scan and index documents and digitally archive as required.
Serves on special project teams as needed to correct past Documents and storage issues.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 50 pounds of materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
