Under the direction of the supervisor, this position performs quantitative research which data gathering, analysis, data integration, and the use of multiple source programs and documents. Functions as part of the Certificate of Need team in the assessment of health care services needs within the state. Prepares data-analysis based reports that help to inform decision making and policy.
This position may be eligible to participate in the Department's pilot telework program, which offers eligible employees the opportunity to work remotely for up to two (2) days per week, as approved by management.
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in a discipline appropriate to the position.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in a field appropriate to the position.
NOTE: A Doctorate in a discipline appropriate to the position may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
