Within the North Carolina State Laboratory of Public Health (NCSLPH), this position serves as Central Accessioning (CA) Medical Lab Technician in the Central Accessioning (CA) Unit of the Quality Assurance Branch. Under the supervision of the CA Supervisor, the Technician provides specimen accessioning for clinical and environmental specimens submitted to the State Laboratory of Public Health (SLPH). The Med Lab Technician will ensure all specimens submitted for testing are in accordance with regulatory and NCSLPH acceptance guidelines. The Technician will also serve as a point of contact between clerical/data entry, customer service, the mailroom/receiving department, the laboratory units, and submitters to ensure quality specimen handling is achieved.   CA Med
