Raleigh Field Services Surveillance Coordinator | Program Coordinator IV
The position is located within the Communicable Disease Branch in the Raleigh Regional Field Services Office. The incumbent serves as the Surveillance Coordinator for various portions of a large state and/or metropolitan areas. Responsibilities include oversight of surveillance activity, rendering technical advice and assistance in the management of the project area’s North Carolina Electronic Data Surveillance System (NCEDSS). Assistance is provided to medical centers, private providers and laboratories to ensure timely and complete reporting of incident sexually transmitted diseases as required by NC statutes (NCGS 130A-133) and rules (15A NCAC 19A .0101 - .0212).
