Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) in either the Fiscal Reconciliation Unit or the Fiscal Compliance Unit, the Research Data Analyst (RDA) II works independently as an expert analyst, providing advice, grant tracking development tools, and data analysis. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required and should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The RDA II acts in a lead capacity in the development of complex estimates for the Governor’s Budget and annual process by incorporating background, key assumptions, methodology descriptions and proposed funding.
