MDH is recruiting a passionate and driven Equity Grants Specialist to lead equity grant writing and coordinate the development, administration, and adoption of equitable grant practices, policies and procedures in collaboration with partners within MDH and the state systems. This position research funding sources, prepares and submits letters of intent and full equity related grant proposals and budgets to secure funding from new donors and existing donors including but not limited to state and federal fundings. This position collaborates with MDH program and finance staff to ensure projects are appropriately represented and accounted for in the grant process. This position must be detail oriented, demonstrate superior writing skills and exhibit excellent initiative and accountability.
