This is a permanent full-time Fiscal technician 2 (FT2) position that ensures the payments for all applications and renewals for health professions and all other agency revenues are processed in an accurate and timely manner. All work is conducted in person at the Tumwater, WA duty station. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Open and sort mail received daily, prepare cash receipts for processing, and batch paperwork for delivery to DOH programs. Post daily cash receipts and prepare cash journal vouchers. Audit and correct receipts that are going to run through the Remittance Processor.  Audit, process, and balance credit card receipts. Process revenue refunds using AFRS and prepare customer letters.
