Under direction of the Communicable Disease Service (CDS), responsible for designing and conducting routine and specialized scientific investigations and surveillance on sporadic and outbreaks of communicable diseases including COVID-19. Research includes epidemiologic, demographic, healthcare and local public health. Additionally, collecting and analyzing data on disease susceptibility, transmission, severity, risk factors, and outcomes.
