The Research Scientist II (RS II) (Epidemiology/Biostatistics) works under the general supervision of the Research Scientist Supervisor I (Epidemiology/Biostatistics), Chief, Surveillance and Research Unit of the Substance and Addiction Prevention Branch. The RS II plans, organizes, and carries out scientific research studies of moderate scientific scope and complexity and participates in the development, implementation, and management of surveillance and research studies related to substance misuse and overdose using syndromic data.
