The Workforce Program Manager is the statewide public health workforce strategist impacting all areas of public health. Through trusted relationships, partnerships, and careful listening (to people and to data), the Workforce Program Manager designs, leads, and facilitates culture strategies that help the statewide public health workforce possess the skills, abilities, knowledge, and confidence to effectively deliver essential public health services. This position is responsible for collaborating with Public Health leaders to develop and improve workforce performance and operational outcomes through job analysis, career paths and consultation with senior managers. This position will be responsible for supervising employees.
